Athlete Expectations

It is the expectation of the coaching staff that each athlete will come to practice on time, be
prepared, work hard and encourage each other. Several new policies have been put in place since last
season in an effort to elevate the Milton Track program.
Athletes who would like to participate in Track & Field must be aware of the attendance
and lettering policy before committing to the program. Attendance is required each day
unless an athlete has received permission from a coach to be excused.
A letter in any sport must be earned and worked for, and Track & Field will be no
different. An athlete earning a letter in Track & Field will have worked for his or her letter
and have a sense of accomplishment.
As a member of the Milton Track & Field team you are expected to attend each meet
whether you are participating in the meet or not. If you are not participating you are
expected to encourage your teammates, help where needed, and be dressed in your sweat
suit representing Milton High School Track & Field.
